      Falling Gold - Aspens are
one of hundreds of
hardwood trees, but in the
arid western section of
Colorado the aspen is one
of a few that thrive. Some
National Forests in
Colorado have 15 – 35%
aspen cover. Aspen prefer
cool, relatively dry
summers with lots of sun,
and winters with abundant
snow. They can only grow
between 40 and 95?F.
But all this being said, they
are best known for their
fantastic fall foliage. Their
golden leaves have
delighted residents and
travelers throughout time.
Psalm 19:9-10
The ordinances of the
LORD are sure and
altogether righteous. They
are more precious than
gold, than much pure gold;
(NIV)
